Material durability
Within the home interior, it is kitchens that are often exposed to the greatest risk of rapid wear and damage. However, new materials already allow very resistant solutions for demanding design kitchens. Worktops may be resistant to high temperatures, tarnishing by grease or sizzling hot oil, or even to scratching by a knife or other objects. This resistance can be ensured by plates developed from a special laminate designed for kitchen work, as well as from various types of granite or the use of quartzite, or specially developed technical ceramics, which is almost indistinguishable from beautiful, but very vulnerable marble.
Similarly, it is possible to remember for resistance of kitchen doors that can be scratched with a knife or a simple zipper on your pants. Here we use new types of artificial HPL materials. In the luxury version we can again use special ceramics.
In the end, when it comes to sinks, the classic stainless steel variants are attractive in design, but they can be easily scratched, and in addition, they do not offer a larger selection of larger sinks. However, more resistant sinks can be ensured by affordable silgranite materials, which, however, have a small selection of both sink types and its colour tones. The highest resistance and the possibility of dimensional enlargement will eventually allow both granite and, again, highly attractive, technical ceramics.
