Comprehensive realisations often require involvement of all three disciplines: thorough search for the ideal layout, attractive interior design, alignment of the interior with the building and exterior, and precise coordination with other crafts and construction works. In our work we therefore focus on a comprehensive service that connects these fields, both within our own team and externally, thanks to close and often long-term cooperation with highly specialised suppliers.
In our studio we connect the roles of interior designers and architects with production engineers, cabinetmakers and structural engineers. Our architects can continuously consult their designs both with the manufacturing team and with construction companies, which allows us to verify the technical and structural feasibility of every project at an early stage. Thanks to our extensive experience with construction and all building trades, we can, when needed, take care of the entire process of a complete renovation, including supervision of all building works. We can also manage the course of the construction itself together with the site manager or developer and ensure that all necessary structural alterations are carried out correctly.
This multidisciplinary approach, combined with many years of experience, enables us to deliver highly bespoke and technically demanding solutions, coordinate numerous suppliers and trades and provide expert supervision of all subcontractors and construction companies – both our long-term partners in Prague and Brno and new partners in other regions of the Czech Republic or abroad. As a result, we are able to take full responsibility for the comprehensive realisation of your interior, including outdoor areas, structural works and the selection of the final decorative details, and hand over the project as a complete turnkey solution.
Our standard in every project includes the manufacture of bespoke furniture, wall cladding and integrated flush doors, including installation. A fully furnished interior, however, often requires much more than perfectly designed cabinetry. It frequently involves structural work and, in many cases, the organisationally and technically demanding involvement of a wide range of specialised fields such as acoustic treatment, ventilation and cooling systems, or layered lighting to create different atmospheres.
Thanks to our extensive experience and a broad network of partner companies in the Czech Republic and abroad, we can, if you wish, take responsibility for the coordination and quality of all trades involved and deliver your project as a complete turnkey interior as the general contractor of your home.
From the very beginning we focus on a thorough and comprehensive layout design of your home so that the interior meets your functional needs and aesthetic expectations discussed at the first meeting, while remaining fully practical and comfortable for everyday living. We can either work with an existing building or co-create an architectural design before construction starts. If required, we also arrange all necessary structural alterations. During the following design phase we can strictly follow your brief, or we can enrich it with our own ideas and inspirations for you to choose from later.
In both phases of the design process we always consider the wider context. For the layout this means, for example, acoustic comfort and conditions for good sleep, the correct positioning of air-conditioning and the right set-up of heat-recovery systems. When shaping the visual design we think about overall attractiveness and stylistic coherence, balance of colours and volumes, and all follow-on elements – from ceiling forms with integrated lighting, through built-in ventilation and air-conditioning, smart electrical wiring and the elegant integration of technically necessary but visually disturbing elements such as riser pipes or a protruding chimney, all the way to the choice of décor and accessories.
We usually prepare our designs in several 3D variants. Instead of a single option you typically receive three to four layouts that fully use the potential of the space. These 3D designs allow you to walk through the interior virtually, see all the connections, reveal any possible surprises and evaluate how the fully designed space feels to you. Only after the final approval of the selected design – and any fine-tuning – do we move on to the realisation of your project.
With our experienced multidisciplinary team we are able to carry out projects of very different types. We can take over partial or complete care of the interior realisation of an ongoing or planned new build, a developer project, a compact city apartment, a flat in a historic centre, an investment property or an extensive renovation of an apartment or family house.
We are equally able to adapt to partial interior realisations affecting only selected rooms, or to complex turnkey projects that include many follow-on systems such as smart electrical installations, ventilation and heat recovery, demanding sound systems and acoustic solutions. For turnkey projects we regularly arrange all necessary building works. More and more often we also design outdoor living areas, including the layout and furnishing of terraces or complete gardens – even with features such as a jacuzzi.
Over the last 32 years we have delivered more than 2,000 projects of various types, increasingly often very complex interiors that require the involvement of many trades, including ones only indirectly related to interior design.
This experience, our multidisciplinary team and our large network of mostly long-term subcontractors in the Czech Republic and abroad have made us specialists in comprehensive turnkey interior realisations.
Thanks to this, we can become a reliable partner for the execution of even very demanding projects, including the option of handling the entire project from start to finish on a turnkey basis.
Such projects include, for example, interiors for apartments in historic city centres, which require very challenging logistics for material delivery and waste removal, solving noise from surrounding streets, dust and often the impossibility of standard air-conditioning solutions in listed buildings. Equally demanding can be complete refurbishments of apartments and houses where even load-bearing walls are removed, or highly efficient layouts of very small living spaces. We also manage complete smart-home installations, onyx features or interiors in distinctive styles such as Provence, First-Republic-inspired Art Deco or Glamour.
Throughout our history we have often worked abroad. In Slovakia we have completed more than 600 projects over the last 25+ years. We have also delivered projects in other countries, including Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, France, Monaco and Egypt.
If needed, we can handle individual project phases online – from in-depth initial meetings, during which we gather detailed information about your property and your expectations, through comprehensive 3D designs and their later refinements to the selection and subsequent coordination of partners carrying out building work and associated trades on site, as well as the coordination of warranty and post-warranty service.
Modern technologies also open up new possibilities for the logistics and transport of furniture and accessories to your location. Thanks to specialised logistics centres it is now technically possible to ship almost anything to virtually any country – including heavy granite worktops, fragile furniture pieces, electronics and the most delicate decorations.
In addition to interior design, bespoke furniture production and supplying accessories, we can, when required, also act as author’s supervision for building works and related trades carried out by external companies. This allows us to deliver international projects as complete turnkey realisations. We can find suitable partners ourselves – either among Czech companies specialising in projects abroad or among reliable local firms in the area of your property – and then remotely coordinate the entire process.
