We implemented our first projects in Slovakia back in the 1990s, during the beginnings of our company, when customers came to our headquarters in Strážnice (just next to the border with Slovakia) mainly from Skalice and the surrounding area. Gradually, however, our activity in Slovakia intensified, Between 2004 and 2009, the Slovak market was even more important for us than the Czech market. In those years we even had our own showroom in Bratislava. However, we have executed contracts not only in Bratislava, but also in various locations in western and central Slovakia, especially even in Košice.

Despite the fact that today our company operates primarily in the Czech Republic, we sometimes still implement projects in Slovakia, and we would like to strengthen this direction now again. To operate in Slovakia, we are not only equipped with our experience from local implementations, but above all our location: our company and its production are located in the South Moravian town of Strážnice, right next to the border with Slovakia (only 11 km from the district town of Skalica, or 100 km from Bratislava). Therefore, projects in Slovakia are not a logistical complication for us.

However today, we are already able to realize even complex interiors on a turnkey basis in Slovakia including construction works and related crafts. Either our Czech subcontractors can come to the site, or we can find local partners directly in your particular location in Slovakia, and within the framework of this cooperation to provide the role of author's supervision of external companies. After all, there are already Slovak companies among our current partners that help us to implement projects in the Czech Republic. For example, a stone company for popular onyx walls or specialists in furniture semi-finished products Senosan.

With regard to communication during cooperation, most of the project phases can now be implemented online. We can offer subsequent personal meetings both at our headquarters in Strážnice as well as possibly also at your home or in your company.

Thanks to joint membership in the EU, it is ultimately true that Slovak customers will have the same legal protection and guarantees when cooperating with us as a Czech company as if we were a Slovak company. This also applies, for example, to the standard 2-year legal guarantee or generally the same legal consumer protection.

During our 31-year history, we have implemented several projects also in different countries across Europe. Usually, these were interiors for permanent housing or summer residences for Czech customers. During these projects, it was especially important to prepare the interior and overall logistics precisely to suit the given implementation and location so that we could deliver the interior even to hard-to-reach places, as was the case with the cliff-top residence in Monaco. In most cases, it was also necessary to cooperate with local companies as well as with specialized carriers, as was the case, for example, in the case of an Olomouc-based company that delivered our interior to the Czech Embassy in Cairo by shipping.

In the past, customers themselves were also involved in these logistically demanding projects, helping us with interpretation at the place or while figuring out of various things. Today, however, if you are interested, we are able to fully implement projects ourselves, even as a comprehensive turnkey implementation. In addition to standard interior design, furniture production and supply of accessories, if necessary, we can also offer the role of author's supervision for any construction works and related crafts supplied by external companies. We could look for suitable partners both among Czech companies that specialize in projects abroad, as well as among local companies in the location of your property. After that, we could coordinate the whole process ourselves.

New technological possibilities concern today primarily long-distance communication. Thus we can today solve individual phases of project implementation online when it is needed and requested. It concerns the thorough initial meeting, during which we will find out detailed information about your property and your requirements, complex 3D designs and their subsequent modifications, selection and subsequent coordination of partners carrying out construction works and related crafts at the place, or often also coordination of guarantee and after-guarantee service.

Modern technologies open new possibilities also in terms of logistics and transportation of furniture and accessories to your place. Thanks to specialized logistics centres, it is technically possible to transport almost everything to any country, including heavy granite slabs, or on the contrary, very fragile pieces of furniture and electronics, and various decorations. We can use transport both by car, train, boat and even plane. Individual options should be considered first in terms of their financial viability. If interested, we are able to find a suitable logistics center ourselves and arrange the entire delivery to the place together with them, including our final assembly at the place.

Cooperation procedure

Initial Consultation

During the initial information call will ask you for more detailed information about your project, the place of implementation and the scope of the required services. At the same time, we are happy to explain the details of our work and the process of possible cooperation. Thanks to this, we can discuss the suitability of our services for your specific project in Slovakia or in other countries.

If you are interested in cooperation, we will further ask you for sending a floor plan of your building, which will allow us to get acquainted with your residential space and its technical connections in detail before the follow-up personal meeting.

Precise Assignment

During the initial non-binding meeting, we will find out the detailed information about your property such as questions about individual materials, e.g. floors, windows, doors, ceilings or wall finishes, both because of the colour scheme and, among other things, to ensure the right acoustic comfort for your space. We also ask about construction technology such as heating and cooling solutions, recuperation, type of fireplace or the use of intelligent wiring.

Subsequently, will ask about your individual requirements regarding the layout in individual rooms, types of electrical appliances or the choice of different lighting options such as various minimalist built-in lighting, surface lights or conversely expressive decorative chandeliers.

We will also learn about your design preferences regarding a style, mass design, as well as colour combinations. Even at this stage, we can both fulfill your precise assignment, as well as, on the contrary, offer ideas and inspiration for your later choice.

In the end, we will discuss how to deal with possible construction works and related crafts to know if we will look for suitable partners ourselves, coordinate their work and provide author's supervision, as well as ensure transport and overall logistics of implementation.

Comprehensive 3D Design Proposals

After the initial detailed meeting, we follow up with the creation of comprehensive proposals that include variants of suitable layout, meet your individual requirements and represent different design solutions.

We usually create these designs in several variants and in 3D previews that allow you to virtually walk through the space, see all the connections, uncover possibly unexpected surprises, or consider how a completely designed space impress you. You can comment on these designs, modify them with us, and then combine specific ideas with each other until the final design. Only after the final approval of a specific proposal, or after its modifications, we implement the project.

In the case of projects that allow creation of several significantly different layouts of the new building, we recommend to focus on the layout during a separate phase before creating 3D designs.

Quotation of the Realization

Based on the selected final design, we prepare detailed quotation for realization of the furniture, tiles and hidden flush doors. The comprehensive design in 3D is usually implemented without obligation, free of charge. The design costs in this case are part of the overall implementation.

At the same time, already during the entire design process, we are able to consult rough estimations of financial requirements as well as of any subsequent crafts that provide, for example, intelligent wiring, recuperation versus cooling, acoustic solutions, demanding hidden sound systems, lighting creating different atmospheres, plasterboard ceilings and other construction works.

In case of large projects, i.e. also with changes in layouts and extensive construction works, we are likely to ask you for reimbursement of architectural works separately, as these processes are often complicated, lengthy and have many connections. For example, for houses, we must already think about the composition and laying of ceilings on load-bearing walls and associated lintels during the design of the layout, the possibility of changing the staircase, or, when changing the layout of the house, new waste solutions, etc. Regarding flats, for example, we need to find out the positions and heights of outlets in the riser pipe and align it with the new layout, or invent a new solution for them. In this process, which we will discuss in advance during the initial non-binding meeting, we will prepare a specification of architectural works before starting the design process, which will determine the output and quantity of proposals. However, the implementation project documentation is not a part of the architectural works.

For projects abroad, however, we are able to implement a general delivery service, within which we ourselves can find and further coordinate suitable partners for construction works and related crafts, offering author's supervision for their work and finally coordinating the overall transport and installation of the interior at the place. In case of interest in general supply we create quotation for these additional works separately.

Determination of Deadlines

The dates for the realization of the furniture and possible construction works and other related crafts will be agreed while proposing the quotation and will be part of the contract for the work. We always set deadlines individually, according to the current capacities and scope of work within our company and possibly all other involved partners.

Implementation, transportation and assembly

After agreeing on the quotation and signing the contract, there is a phase of realization. This includes first the creation of technical documentation for furniture and also any construction works and related crafts. It is followed by agreeing on individual details with you. This includes all the technical details, as well as the possibility of choosing details related to the design, which goes up to, for example, individual natural materials of veneer or drawing of the selected stone.

In the following phase, manufacture of the furniture takes place, as well as possible coordination of all related crafts and works of subcontractors and cooperation with logistics centres during the transportation of furniture and accessories to the place. Thanks to our practice, we are today able to plan and manage the entire complex process well remotely in a way that all individual works follow one by one and there are no unnecessary time delays and thus total project delays.

Handover of the Work, Guarantee Period and Post-Guarantee Service

After completion of the realization, there is handover of the work. Together with you at the place we go through the interior and write any potential comments in the handover protocol, which we try to resolve immediately. After final approval, the work is handed over.

Guarantee period is as standard 24 months according to the law.

However, we try to help our clients to solve possible problems in their interior also within after-guarantee service, and it happens often even after many years. For example, we helped dismantle a flooded flat and repair damaged parts of the furniture. Or we also repaired doors which were scratched by pets, or by accident damaged furniture parts, interior doors or floors.
